Your Eyes Spill Secrets
Eye exams can catch health issues before they become big problems, like:
Diabetes (yep, your eyes can spill the tea on your blood sugar)
High blood pressure (because those tiny blood vessels don’t lie)
Certain cancers (early detection saves lives)
Neurological conditions (your brain and eyes are besties, after all)
Prevention = Power
Catching these issues early can help prevent major health complications, so don’t skip out on a check-up!
Plus, an eye exam means no more squinting at tiny text or awkwardly pretending you can read a menu in dim lighting.
Easy, Hassle-Free Insurance Billing
We direct bill with most insurance carriers, so there’s literally no excuse to skip it. Your future self (and your eyes) will thank you.

Signs You Need an Eye Exam
Your eyes work hard every day—here’s how to know when it’s time for a check-up:
Blurred or strained vision when reading or using screens
Frequent headaches that may be linked to eye strain
Difficulty seeing at night or trouble adjusting to changes in light
Increased squinting or difficulty focusing on fine print
Dry, irritated, or watery eyes that may indicate an underlying issue
Fatigue and neck strain from our body over exerting trying to compensate for strained vision

At least every 1-2 years! Even if your vision seems fine, regular exams help catch sneaky issues like glaucoma, cataracts, or even signs of diabetes before they become bigger problems. Think of it like an oil change—but for your eyes.
-
Absolutely! Eye exams aren’t just about updating prescriptions. They also help detect early signs of eye conditions and overall health issues like high blood pressure and diabetes. Plus, if you’ve ever squinted at a menu in dim lighting, it might be time to double-check those peepers.

Your eyes are working hard every day—give them a break if you’re experiencing:
Blurred or strained vision (especially with screens)
Frequent headaches that feel like your brain’s rebelling
Difficulty seeing at night or adjusting to light changes
Squinting so hard you’re basically scowling
Dry, irritated, or constantly watery eyes
Neck strain from unconsciously trying to "fix" your vision
If any of these sound familiar, book an appointment and let’s get those eyes in top shape!
-
We keep things simple and stress-free! Your optometrist will:
Assess your vision and update your prescription (if needed)
Use fancy high-tech tools to check for early signs of eye conditions
Chat with you about your lifestyle—whether you’re a night driver, a screen addict, or a fine-print reader—to make sure your vision needs are fully covered
-
Come prepared with:
Your current glasses (if you wear them)
Any extended insurance coverage you have
Your BC Care Card (if applicable)
Also, we’re a scent-free space, so please skip the perfume or cologne. Your optometrist (and fellow scent-sensitive clients) will thank you!
-
Yes! We direct bill most insurance carriers, so you can focus on seeing clearly instead of dealing with paperwork. If you have coverage, bring your insurance details, and we’ll take care of the rest.
